Build from the ground up.
Harvest & Halo is based on our family farm in Crescent, Iowa. We grow our own hemp and make every batch ourselves. We don’t outsource and we don’t buy extracts from bulk suppliers. We started this to make something clean and reliable for people we care about, and that’s still how we do it.

The soil
Our farm sits on some of the most nutrient-rich soil in the country. This part of western Iowa is known for its black topsoil, which is dense in organic matter and naturally balanced. That means we can grow strong, healthy plants without relying on chemical inputs.
The quality of the soil directly affects the strength and stability of the hemp we produce. When the plants are grown properly, the extract doesn’t need to be processed as heavily. That preserves more of the natural cannabinoids and terpenes, which leads to better performance in the final product.
The people
This is a family business. We plant, grow, harvest, process, and formulate everything in-house. The products weren’t designed in a lab or a marketing meeting, they came out of actual need. That’s why we stay involved in every step.
We’re not trying to scale quickly or turn this into a mass brand. We’d rather keep the process small and the quality high.
The process
Every batch is tracked from planting to production. That includes the strain of hemp used, the extraction method, and the final formulation. If something isn’t right, we know where it came from and how to correct it.
Working in small batches gives us full visibility. It also means we can refine things slowly over time, based on real-world use and feedback.

The Product
We’re not removed from the process. We’re the ones making it, using it, and standing behind it. That’s how we know it holds up and our products are the result of that process.
